Thesis Collection
As part of my senior thesis, I created a mini collection focused on mental health awareness in the Black community. This collection blends upcycled materials, thoughtful silhouettes, and symbolic design elements to spark conversation through clothing.
Look 1
Black cotton hoodie with silver chains draping from one sleeve, symbolizing the heaviness of unspoken struggles. The other sleeve features the logo screen printed vertically, representing identity confined by silence. Hand-painted typography on the hood.
Look 3
Hand embroidered and rhinestone-embellished cotton hoodie and sweatpants on black fabric, representing empowerment and visibility. The sparkle reflects voices finally being heard and breaking free from stigma.
